Keith and Carmen McFaul
Missionaries to France
Keith, and his wife Carmen, partnered with TEAM, and went to France in 2019 to help train leaders and establish new churches, after his nearly 14 years of pastoral ministry at Grace Evangelical Church, Oak Harbor (now named Redeeming Grace Church). Keith is an ordained minister with degrees in Divinity and in Pastoral Theology from The Master’s Seminary in Sun Valley, California and from Covenant Theological Seminary in Saint Louis, Missouri.
Keith and Carmen first lived near Paris, while studying French at The Sorbonne. After moving to Nantes, they continued French Studies at the University of Nantes, and started a residential discipleship program for young believers at “The European Center for Christian Studies” (Le Centre Européen d’Etudes Chrétiennes). The program is designed for young Christians who come to Nantes as professionals, as interns in local companies, or as students at the many universities. These young believers are recommended to the program by churches, if they have a desire to assist the local French church, to reach-out to the community with the gospel, and to grow in their faith.
In addition to serving as directors of the residential discipleship program, Keith also serves as Pastor of Redeeming Grace Church-Nantes. Nantes is an ideal place for a multi-cultural, multi-national English-speaking church. It consists of over 100,000 students from all over the world, expatriates who work in its fast-growing economy, and French-speaking residents who enjoy worshipping in English.
Keith and Carmen also enjoy the cultural activities of France, such as visiting art museums and attending orchestra concerts. They have loved participating in the local community choir, and the neighborhood orchestra, and enjoy an occasional round of golf. They have two adult children who reside in the US.

And Jesus came and said to them, 'All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you. And behold, I am with you always, to the end of the age.'
Matthew 28:18-20
